So I am sure that all of you have those bead link toys for babies. They are older than I am!( I know, old) Well a while back, my visiting teacher (Camille Taylor) showed the girls how you can suction them to your skin. So here are the girls showing their new way to play with their old toys.

Almost Twins celebrate first birthday!
What do you do all day?
I got this from a friend and it fits my life and most of yours....it should make anyone who stays home with children or has stayed with children in the past smile.
A man came home from work and found his three Children outside, still In their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty Food boxes and wrappers Strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was The front door to the house And there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding Into the entry , he found An even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked Over, and the throw rug was Wadded against one wall. In the frontroom the TV was loudly blaring a Cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and Various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, Breakfast food was spilled on the Counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog Food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a Small pile of sand was spread By the back door. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over Toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried She might be ill, or that Something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it Made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, Scummy soap and more toys Strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a Heap and toothpaste had been Smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife Still curled up in the bed In her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up At him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What Happened here today?' She again smiled and answered, 'You know every Day when you come home From work and you ask me what in the world I do all Day? ' ' Yes,' was his incredulous reply She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it..'
I refer to days like those to "ONE OF THOSE DAYS" Yesterday was one...I contemplated putting my children for sale on craigslist. I think the ad would read something like this...For sale or trade...on days like today I will pay someone to take...two adorable (when sleeping) small children. A strong willed four year old who antagonizes her younger sister to the point of tears every 5 minutes by having to play with the exact toy she is playing with even though she forgot it even existed until little sister found interest in it, refuses to watch the TV show little sister wants to watch even if it is her favorite one, has to sit in exact chair little sister is sitting in even though she was not even thinking of sitting down and hits her just in case little sister might think about doing something to her later on in the day. And a almost potty trained 2 year old who today refuses to use the potty and takes her pullup off to purposely pee on the floor at least 5 times, has only one word, "no", that she knows and correctly uses every 2 minutes, has learned to whack her older sister when the opportunity arises because she knows she is due to be hit, kicked, or dragged across the floor any minute by her older sister. Please email with any questions, I will send pictures!
I know we all have "one of those days" I wish you the best of luck to survive them!

Alaskan Adventures

I struggle with Alaska, especially this time of year when my mind and body know that there is a season called spring, where flowers are supposed to be blooming, but here we are still getting some snow. My kids need to be inside most of the time due to cold weather, which makes for some long winter days. I do have to admit that Heavenly Father created quite a land when He made Alaska. It has amazingly, breathtaking views. Here are some shots of Ryan snow maching at Nellie Juan just last week. It is on the way to Seward. Check out the video he took of the "furry friend" he saw in the mountains. Hibernation is over!

Monkey See, Monkey Do!
There is not a lot of things to do in Alaska during the winter. Zoey sure loves her big sister. Everything Rylee does, Zoey tries. She is not quite successful, but she sure tries. I think I need to look into gymnastics!

Avery the fish
Avery loves the bath. Now you see why I have to wash a whole load of towels every time I give them a bath due to the mopping up!
If you can't beat 'em join 'em...
Well I have been contimplating this whole blogging thing...I keep telling myself that I don't have the time, but it sure would make sharing pictures a whole lot easier...so I decided to do it mainly because I would be able to get video clips of my kids to my family that lives so very far away.
Let me explain our title....We were all getting dressed for church on Easter Sunday. When Rylee was finished she said "Look I am Princess...then when Zoey was done she said "Look, Zoey is a princess." When Avery was dressed Rylee again said " Avery is a Princess" I finally was able to get myself ready and when I walked out of the bedroom. Rylee said "Oh mommy, you are a Princess, too" Ryan piped up and said "Well what am I ?" Rylee looked right at him, with a duh look on her face, and said "Daddy you are the Magic Beast" So I feel it is only fitting to be titled "The Magic Beast and His Princesses"
