09 Ornaments

When I was little, my mom started a tradition to give her kids an ornament each year. So when I left her house, I had a whole set of ornaments of my own...so to this day I still have an ornaments that is my baby's first Christmas hanging on my tree. I started the same tradition with my kids. A couple years ago, I learned that I like to make ornaments out of fimo and sculpey clay. I have tried to make my kids an ornament the past few years. I also make a family ornament. This is what was made this year...due to time issues...(not having much) Lynzie stepped in and helped me. She made the puppy for Rylee and the Kai Lan for Avery and I did the others, Zoey's is a unicorn, purple of course and Levi's is a giraffe. ( remember you can click on the pic to enlarge)

Breakfast with Santa

We went to breakfast with Santa this morning. I took the girls and Gramma kept Levi to keep him away from germs. They had a fun time. Avery wasn't so sure about Santa and didn't want to sit on his lap. But she did ask him for some lady bugs. I don't know where that came from. I also need to remember to tell the kids that Santa doesn't hand you the present you want right there while you are on his lap. You have to wait until Christmas. Avery was a bit confused.

6 months old

Where does the time go? Levi is already 6 months old. When he was at the Dr last week he was 19 lbs 7 ozs and 27 1/2 in long. He is a big boy. He is doing much better. As you can see, he got his smile back. We are hoping he is on the road to recovery. He was one sick little man all last week. I am so happy to have my happy little guy back!

The snow and frost around here is just gorgeous...I had this vision to get a family photo with our purple outfits in the beautiful white nature backdrop. Well as you can see below the photos didn't go so great, but my vision was right. The purple and white are gorgeous together. Make sure you click on the pic to make it bigger so you see all the facial expressions! :)

This was a second attempt after bribing to go home and make pancakes for good smiles.

Levi

Things have been so crazy with our little man...(on top of the therapy for his neck) he has been congested for well over a month. We have been back and forth to the DR and they were first saying cold...then they checked for RSV, H1N1, and a chest x ray for pneumonia, but negative for all. We went back and she heard wheezing and said she really thinks it is asthma. She was really worried about this breathing. We have been trying inhalers and a nebulizing and also switched to soy formula, but still have a rattle. He goes back in tomorrow for a check up. I am thinking we have allergy problems. We'll see what she has to say. I am so thankful for our DR. She is fantastic. She told me to call her at home if there were any problems or if I was concerned. She also called on a Sat and a Sun to check on him. She goes above and beyond. She is the BEST!
