Halloween 2010

We celebrated Halloween on Saturday since it falls on a Sunday this year. Ryan took the girls to the school carnival and then we went as a family to the church party. We had Nana and Izzy stay the night so we got them ready too. It was a very busy house!

Rylee as Super Girl

Rylee and her friend and neighbor McKenna
Super Girl and Dorothy

Bryce and McKenna our neighbors
Hobo and Dorthy

Avery is Funshine, but she wanted to be Super Funshine since Rylee was Supergirl and Levi was Batman. She needed to be fancy too.

Levi as Batman...this is the costume that Ethan, his cousin, wore last year when he was 2 1/2. It is tight in the arms on Levi. Makes him look like he has muscles.

Zoey as a bat--a very cute one

She got her face painted at the school carnival. I don't know who did it, but it made her costume look great...finished it off perfectly.

Izzy and Zoey

Izzy as an angel--she got her face painted too.

Savannah as Strawberry shortcake

Gina the semi cowgirl--no boots or chaps!!
Ready to go to the party.

Hat Day

It was hat day today for Zoey's class..she had to wear her purple cowgirl hat and her horse shirt.

Family Night Pumpkin Carving

Lynzie, Miles, and Blakeley came over and we carved pumpkins for family night. We also roasted the seeds. Avery liked them, but Zoey and Rylee not so much. They had a great time!

Zoey and her slimy hands

Zoey working on cleaning hers

Avery getting the seeds out...she wanted to do it all by herself
Mommy and Rylee working on Rylee's

Rylee digging the seeds out

Avery lost the spoon and started in with her hands

Zoey had Daddy's help in making Ariel. (I didn't get a picture since my hands were all slimy)

Zoey's 2010 Jack-o-lantern
Here is Rylee's..she drew the design. I just cut.
Rylee's 2010 Jack-o-lantern

Avery and hers...I helped her design it...but she wanted heart eyes.

Here is Zoey's lit up.
This one is Miles...Ryan thinks he defaced the pumpkin...putting a Yankee's logo on there (Ryan loves the Braves remember!!!)
Check out Lynzie's...

She used a stencil. Turned out pretty amazing! I promise you she did really carve it and it really is a pumpkin. I didn't think it would turn out...but I was WRONG!

Handsome Boy

Our handsome boy is 16 months old. He is weighing in at 32.6 pounds and is 34 inches tall. He is a BIG boy. He has mastered walking and is now into EVERYTHING. He has also learned to climb and loves to do it. He found his voice and is quite the screamer. Sometimes I think we should have named him Dennis. He is still sweet and loves to cuddle...mainly with his dad. His is really not talking, although he does communicate, but with 4 moms he doesn't need to talk. He should be saying on average 20 words. I am not really worried. He has been late in everything else. I am sure speech will be the same. They have given us some suggestions on trying to help him start talking at therapy. I am a little apprehensive to try...I did the exercises to help him walk and he became a little monster I am afraid what helping him might cause! :) Here he is in the suit that Mollie Kent gave him. It was her sons that he out grew. I think he is VERY handsome, but hey I am the mom..supposed to think that. Check him out and see what you think!!!
