more family fun...

Rylee and Uncle Miles

Avery hanging out in Levi's stroller

They have games for kids and then they give away a bike and helmet in each age bracket for a boy and a girl. Rylee won this princess bike. This is the second time she has won in 3 years...she is one lucky girl. The bike was a little small for her, but with a little coaxing, she gave it to her sister.

Zoey loves her new bike...she has put at least 100 miles on it around and around the garage...remember lots of rain.:) She have her bike to Avery and Avery lovingly gave the trike to Levi..it will be awhile before he can ride it!

Bear Baiting Station

My brother in law, Miles is true Alaskan man. He has a bear baiting station...don't worry it is legal here. You can only hunt black bear on the peninsula. He has a motion activated camera there that snaps pictures. Here are a few he retrieved off his camera. You can see the time at the bottom of the picture. Kinda scary what is out and about when we are sleeping.

The Kenai

My brother in law Casey took this pic with his phone. It takes pictures and stitches they together so you get a panoramic. It is pretty cool. There is a point and shoot Sony camera that does the same thing. We looked at getting it!

We are getting a yard!!

Brian Millyard has been working really hard to get our yard all nice and flat. It is looking great. We need a few loads of topsoil spead out and we will be ready to plant the grass. We are so excited!!!

Concrete

We had some concrete poured to even out our sidewalk and to give the kids a pad to play on since we tore up our paved driveway to add on to our house. We put hand prints in for family night. As you can see...Avery also decided to put her shoe prints in as well...just as I said " don't walk in the concrete" she took 4 little steps....memories, right???

Sibling Love

Avery has been going into Rylee's room and helping herself to Rylee's special treasures. It has been causing some serious fights. I went downstairs the other day and found this on Rylee's door. I do believe that the picture is supposed to be Avery! :)

Memorial Day at the Cabin

As tradition we went to the family cabin for Memorial Day. We have been having beautiful weather in the 70's. We had a great time....good food, great weather, family, and friends. We are blessed.

Rylee and her fishing hat!

Rylee wanted a hat to wear fishing so she picked out this one...is has a bear and salmon on it. She told her dad "she can wear it hunting too since it has a bear"

Flying

I had a great opportunity, thanks to my sister in law, to be a tourist and go on scenic flying tour.
We flew over the inlet and around Mt Redoubt, the volcano that has been active lately. It was such a great experience and a very fun time!
