Schools out for summer!

We officially have a 1st grader! Rylee had her last day of school yesterday. She had quite the eventful day. Day full of traditions...

She rode her bike to school with our sweet neighbor and a bunch of other kids

We went to the school for Success Hour to see how everything she accomplished during the year. Her report card said "she was a kid of character and that she was more than ready for first grade." Her teacher did a great job...she challenged Rylee and also nurtured her into becoming quite the little reader. Then we went to the picnic and played on the playground. It was a nice and sunny day.

The teachers line the sidewalk wearing crazy hats and banging pots and pans to send the kids off for the summer.

Hey Baby We Went to Vegas

Ryan and I got to take a short, but nice trip to Vegas. One of Ryan's best buddies got married just outside Vegas and we were lucky enough to get to go. It was nice to see the warm (98 one day) sunshine and relax. Thanks to Miss Peggy keeping our kids so we could go.

My brother came down from northern NV to see us. We spent the day being tourists with him and his sweet girlfriend.

We were able to attend the temple.

11 months

Levi is doing well. Still as cute and sweet as ever. He loves blowing raspberries and sticking his tongue out. He just got over pneumonia, but has recovered well. As you can see he is trying hard to crawl, but has not quite mastered it yet. He will be all over the place soon. He also does a great scoot on his bum. He can make it all the way across the floor while still sitting on his bum.

One tired boy...

I put Levi in his chair with his snacks. I ran downstairs for a minute and came back to this. This is what you get when you try to sneak in lunch before a nap.

10 months already...

Levi is 10 months old...he is one solid boy. He is 26 pounds and 31 inches tall. He still is not crawling but is getting closer and closer. We sure do love his laid back, sweet personality. He says da da and when I say "say mama" he just smiles and says da da again. We love this sweet boy!

When I was younger, I always remember leaving little notes around the house for my mom. Now it is my time to get the sweet love notes. They melt my heart.
