We were able to get a motor and put it on our friends boat so we could be on the river during the month of July, due to the new regs. Ryan and I both love to be on the river and our older two girls are dying go fishing on the boat. It is so beautiful and peaceful on the river. We will eventually get our own boat when the right deal comes along. They spent many hours trying to catch a king, but no such luck. I did hook into one...my line starting zinging (the fish was stripping line off my reel). I thought for sure it was HUGE, but I got it in the tail. It was quite the fight, but I was not able to keep it...one day I will catch myself a king salmon.
