A fishersman's widow!!!

Hallelujah! King Salmon season is over! Ryan has spent many nights fishing for kings. He really enjoys it, but it is hard to have him gone so much and it was not my time to go with a new baby. Next year is my year...I'm gonna catch the big one!!!

Our nephew Bradon, 10, with his first ever king that weighed 30 lbs.

Ryan's best buddy Chad pulled in a 67 pounder. The biggest fish that has been brought into the boat. Chad told me "He wished Ryan could have caught it" I said "you were the someone that finally caught a bigger fish than Ryan, you should be gloating!!!"

and last but not least, our Friend Raquel caught her first Kenai River king that weighed 40 pounds which outweighed the fish her dad caught this season!
and when you are bored on the boat, you do crazy things on a dare for $10. (check out the video) You are more of an Alaskan woman than I'll ever be Kel. I am just thankful that they didn't dare you to bite the head off for good luck!!!

WOW! Great fishing. I was going to ask to be in your boat next year until I saw the video of Kel!

Thou shalt not covet, thou shalt not covet, thou shalt not covet... maybe if I say it enough times, I'll finally convince myself. But I sure wish I were there for some king fishing (and catching)!
