Ten years ago today, I was baptized and became a member of the LDS church. Wow...I sure can't believe how the time has passed and how my life has been truly blessed. I have learned so many things...gospel related and about myself. My testimony of my Savior and His atoning sacrifice has grown leaps and bounds by being able to serve my Heavenly Father in many callings from door greeter to stake missionary and from primary worker to most recently YW president, as well as being a wife and mother. Having a loving husband and being able to raise our children in a manner that is pleasing unto Him is a great responsibility. The family is central to His plan. I enjoy being a mom and teaching my children right from wrong and about their Savior helping them to build their own testimony. That is my purpose in life. It is not always the easiest thing to do, but it such an important responsibility.
To know that I have a Father in Heaven who knows me....my strengths and my weaknesses warms my heart. He gives me opportunities and trials that allow me to find the potential He sees in me, within myself to learn and grow becoming a better person with each challenge that comes my way. He listens to my prayers and answers each one...not always the way I want them answered, but the way they need to be answered. He allows me to have the companion of the Holy Ghost...a comforter who testifies of truth and helps guide me to do the things that He wants me to do. Feeling the Spirit and obeying His promptings gives you such a spiritual high...a feeling so hard to describe, but one you will never forget feeling. I am so thankful to have the gospel in my life. I couldn't imagine my life without it nor would I ever want to imagine the huge void I would have if I didn't have it. Having the knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel and Heavenly Father's plan is the only way to have true happiness. I am thankful to all the great people that I have met as I have been on this journey. They have been great examples to me, helping my testimony grow and touched my life in their own special way. I have a deep love for each one that crossed my path. Thank you! Being baptized is the most important decision that I ever made in my life and I am glad that I jumped in and have never looked back. To me there is no other way! I am so blessed!

I am so thankful that we were brought together under unusual circumstances. You student teaching and me working at the school in the same grade. I count that as one of the BEST things that has ever happened to me. Meeting you! You have taught me so much, and YOU have been such an amazing example to me. THANK YOU! The miles separate us but the bond we share is eternal...I love you. Congrats on your 10 year anniversary.

Young Women's President!!!!!! HOly Cow girl. Where did you meet Ryan? Was he a missionary in your area? Congratulations on 10 years!!
Love the picture... you both look like babies!! Congrats on 10! I was thinking about you, but haven't been anywhere near the computer lately! I too am thankful the Lord places those in our life that we need the most. I would have NEVER survived that first year in Orem without you and Ryan- you two were the answers to my prayers and I am SO thankful that modern technology allows us to still be a part of eachother's lives! I love you! ;)
