Mt Redoubt

For those of you who don't live in AK or have never been here. This is Mt Redoubt. It is an active volcano. The pink flower in the foreground is called fire weed. It is a flower native to Alaska and when it starts to bloom we know that summer is on it's way out.

My friend who is here for the summer from UT wanted me to take a picture of Redoubt with fire weed in the foreground. There is not a place that you can really find that, so her daughter and I picked some fire weed and she held it up and I took the above picture. I then played with it in an editing program and got the below image. I think it turned out really neat. We would love to print it as a panoramic. I love playing with photographs.
